How to Sign Up for Zelle

Offered for Consumer Accounts

Zelle makes it easy to send money to friends and family directly from your Bank of Marin account. Follow these simple steps to get started.

Registration Steps

  1. Log into digital banking
    Sign in to your Bank of Marin online banking account using your username and password.
  2. Open the transfers dropdown on the left-hand menu
    Look for the “Transfers” section in the navigation menu on the left side of your screen and click to expand it.
  3. Click “Send Money with Zelle”
    Select the Zelle option from the transfers menu.
  4. Review and accept the agreement
    Read through the Zelle Transfer Service Agreement carefully, then click “I Accept” at the bottom of the page to continue.

Important Things to Know

Account Requirements:

  • You must have an eligible checking account to use Zelle
  • Currently, this service is only available for personal accounts
  • Zelle is not authorized for use with business accounts at this time

Once you’ve completed registration, you’ll be able to send and receive money quickly using just an email address or mobile phone number.
